Original work by Arie-Kees van Noort - Lively beach scene, expressively and colorfully painted - Signed lower right - Arie-Kees van Noort (1914–2003) was a Dutch painter, born in Bennebroek. He initially worked in his father's painting company and took art lessons in the evenings with the Haarlem painter Henri Frédéric Boot. Van Noort mainly painted beach views and flower bulb fields, but also cityscapes, landscapes and still lifes. He often worked en plein air and captured his surroundings directly and naturalistically. In 1942 he became a member of the Kunst Zij Ons Doel society. His work has been exhibited internationally.
