Rare color screen print by Jo Delahaut - Hand signed and numbered 17/30 - Dated: 1980 - Jo Delahaut (19111992) was a Belgian painter and a pioneer of geometric abstraction in Belgium. He started working figuratively, but after the Second World War evolved into a sleek, abstract style with bright colors and simple shapes. Delahaut co-founded the art group Art Abstrait and played an important role in the spread of constructivist art in Belgium. His work is characterized by harmony, balance and a search for pure visual language.
