Marino Marini (1901 – 1980) Title of the work: From the cycle "Horses and riders" (Cavallo e cavaliere) Technique: Color lithography / Seriography on paper Edition: 52 / 75 (Limited low series) Signature: Signed lower right in print/pencil “MARINO”, limited edition numbering lower left. Description and artistic context Marino Marini is one of the most important Italian sculptors and graphic artists of the 20th century. This work is a representative example of his lifelong fascination with the subject of horse and rider. Composition: Central motif of a horse in motion surrounded by abstracted figures. Here, Marini's style moves on the border between expressionism and subtle abstraction. Color: The dominant orange-ochre surface gives the piece energy and warmth, while the black and dark purple lines define the dynamism and power of the animal figure. Symbolism: For Marini, the horse was not just an animal, but a symbol of duality - raw nature and human control, which in the post-war period turned into a feeling of insecurity and loss of balance. Condition and authenticity Authentication: The work includes a protective element - a "Verification of Authenticity" holographic sticker with a link to the database (grafy.blog). Condition: From a visual point of view, the paper is clean, the colors are saturated and the edges are preserved. Numbering 52/75 indicates a high collector value due to the small number of prints. Certificate included. Estimate:1500-2500eur..
