This work of art is rooted in the courage to no longer suppress sadness, but to allow it fully. It's about taking that pain into your own hands and actively working with it. This process has shaped me into a better version of myself, or at least a much less frustrated one. And that is precisely what brings me closer to a truth. Not necessarily a universal truth, but mine. The text at work encourages embracing and processing grief rather than suppressing it. For cancer patients, acknowledging and processing difficult emotions can help provide a path to strength and self-acceptance, even during difficult times. Because where sadness is faced, light can also arise.
