Two Bodies Merge. Two bodies merge, between embrace and surrender. Vulnerable and powerful at the same time. They support each other, hold each other up, take care of each other. Meat becomes a site of resistance, a refuge from fear. This work tells about the interplay of fragility and strength, about the invisible struggle that runs through the people we love. It's the embrace before the fight, or maybe after. Where pain and tenderness become one, where loving becomes a form of resistance. It reminds us that in every struggle there is that one restrained moment when life reclaims its place. There is equal care and longing in the gesture, a reminder that life, even when wounded, still burns brightly. This painting is a tribute to all who guide, soften and continue to love.
