Tower diver, Brittany — printed on glass For this photo of a diver in free fall I chose glass as the support. Transparent, light that passes right through - the image thus takes on something ethereal, brittle and vulnerable. Each print is unique. The process allows for some imperfections, and that's exactly the point: in a digital world where everything is perfect and infinitely repeatable, this has its own little quirks. No two copies are the same. The tactile aspect also counts. A photo on a screen remains fleeting and elusive, but here it becomes an object that you can almost touch — and at the same time transparent enough to let the light play.
