The yellow is reminiscent sunlight that warms the earth, the blue of water and the olive green of the fertile meeting place where light and water live together. The white brings space and peace, an emptiness that makes growth possible and lets the other colors speak. When yellow and blue meet, green is created. The olive green symbolizes growth, connection and the first steps of life on earth. The white reinforces this symbolism by giving breathing space, harmony between elements emphasize. The black lines in the work refer to our human tendency to explore nature organize and divide into manageable pieces. They separate colors and surfaces create control and overview. At the same time, they remind us that these boundaries are artificial. Nature itself has no straight lines. The work is inviting to consciousness: as we structure, we must recognize that real harmony arises in the interplay of elements, and so do our interventions power comes with responsibility.
