Original color screen print by Roger Raveel - Signed and numbered in pencil - Printing studio: Beca-Screen, Ekeren - Publisher: Lions Club, Antwerp-Zuid - Slight yellowing - Professionally framed - Roger Raveel (19212013) was a Belgian painter and one of the most important innovators of post-war art in Belgium. His work combines figuration and abstraction, with a characteristic style in which everyday objects, white surfaces and bright color contrasts play a central role. Raveel often introduced a tension between reality and illusion, where painting and real space merge.
