Word from Wim De Vilder: I am an avid traveler and a hobby photographer. These two passions come together beautifully in this photo. In my travels I look for relaxation, but also alienation. These are two sentiments that I fully experienced at the moment of taking this photo. I was on Inle Lake in Myanmar, in a boat, and saw a scene I had never seen before: a fisherman on the lake using a fishing technique I was unfamiliar with, steering the boat with just his left foot. It was a beautiful moment of complete peace, at sunset, on a perfect evening in November 2012, captured in this photo.
